A whole day of activities

Follow the program of our talks, and listen to the wonderful stories of our animals. With The GZP guides you will explore distant seas and forests that are incredibly connected to all of us.

You can listen to the secrets of the great meerkat family or find out why Okila doesn’t like hibernating. If soap operas fascinate you, you must attend the talk about the African penguins… they can teach us humans the theory of love!

Where and When?

On Saturdays and Sundays (pre-holidays and holidays) Talks vary each day, check on arrival for times and locations.
(In case of bad weather, the activity will be suspended)

No reservation required

All talks are all free with your Zoo ticket.
Zoo guests can attend one or all! (or attend a talk…and then head to the next one!)

Why are animals coloured? Have they always been like this? There is an ancient game that animals loved to play every morning. To learn the rules and discover the story, all you have to do is participate in the meeting with the animal painter.

IN NEPAL WITH THE RED PANDAS

There are two red pandas here at the GZP – Pam and Rusty.Their story is intertwined with that of the bamboo forest in Nepal. Did you know that red pandas can climb down trees head first? Do you want to know more?

At the African penguin exhibit

The group of African penguins at the GZP is central to a fun soap opera. Which episode are you on? If you want to know the whole story, come and help feed snacks to our little fish-lovers and you will be amazed at how similar they are to us when it comes to love stories.

FACE TO FACE WITH LEMURS

Being face to face with ring-tailed lemurs suddenly takes us to Madagascar, with the scents and colours of a disappearing land. What can you do to protect it? Meet the Sakalava lemurs and all their friends to find out!

They are always active and very busy! They love being the protagonists of stories and anecdotes and taking turns putting themselves in full view. We say that they act as sentries, is it true or are they moments of vanity?
